Uncle Skip and Aunt Pat opened their home and gave us a car to use as Dorothy and I scouted for apartments when relocating to the Chicago area. They were not even in town at the time; just left the key for us. How gracious was that? RIP Uncle Skip

The first day I met Skip I asked how he liked his new condo. He said he was happy but what was important to him was that Pat was happy. I knew then he was a good man. No matter how Skip was feeling he always asked about my husband knowing Mike had health issues and many doctor visits. That and his pleasant nature made him a great neighbor and a joy to visit. Always smiling and he enjoyed sunny days. I will miss him. Wish I could be there today but it’s another doctor day for my husband. Both of us will remember Skip in our prayers. Our love to Pat and family.

RIP our dear friend Skippy. The memories we have from Prairie Ave. in Bloomingdale with you and Pat are fresh in our minds and we speak of those great times often. Horseshoes in my backyard amd swimming in your pool, drinking shots for every score during the 85 Bears are a scetchy memory, playing cards to the early hours of the morning. We are all better for knowing you. We Thank You Skippy!
