I have known Maddy only a few short years. We met because of his awesome dog Gio. Maddy trusted me to board Gio during his business trips and vacations. He LOVED his Gio. Maddy was a genuinely caring human being. My condolences to the family on the loss of an outstanding man.

Mariann, Vince, Joe, Anthony & family, It is with deepest sadness that we say goodbye to one of the greatest men I have ever known, and had the pleasure and privilege to call a friend. My heart breaks for all of you, as I know that Maddy's 'larger than life' presence and love for you was so profound and impactful in ways beyond words. Know that we all loved and respected Maddy so very much, and will miss and think of him each every day. He made us all better people, and I will be eternally grateful for his time, his kindness, his genuine nature, his sense of humor, and his constant drive for excellence. Rest in peace my dear friend, and may God welcome and cherish you in His kingdom above. May God bless the Rossobillo family, and bring comfort, understanding, and peace.

Our sincerest of thoughts joined with all our prayers and support to Mariann and the entire Rossobillo family. Our hearts ache for all of you at this most difficult of times. Our son, Pierce, attended DePaul University—far away from his San Jose, California-based family. Upon his departure, little did we know the love and support he would receive from so many wonderful DePaul Hockey Club teammates and their families. And in the years since DePaul, those friendships have grown for which we are very grateful. At the head of the “love and support” train was both Maddy & Mariann Rossobillo. These two were INCREDIBLE. Their drive, their management of the team, their love for the boys, their love for the parents, their love for the sport, their love for the DePaul Ice Hockey program, their love of doing right by others—ALL of the above—all of it—was ALWAYS evident through their actions and words. Maddy Rossobillo made a HUGE positive impact on the lives of so many, ours included. As we traveled back to watch hockey games from time to time, Maddy and Mariann were there to greet us and to make us feel welcomed—so incredibly welcomed—as did the boys. We so admired and will NEVER forget Maddy’s kindness and genuineness, nor Mariann’s. Moreover their commitment to the boys and the program was exemplary. Maddy’s influence on the boys was palpable. Maddy earned respect amongst them for all the right reasons—as he led by example day in and day out. May God bless Maddy—not just a good man—a great man. And, may God share his quiet grace and powerful presence with the entire Rossobillo family now and regularly throughout the coming days, weeks, months and years. In Sympathy. Bill & Linda Baron
