I am at a loss for words, which you know never happens. Finding a best friend is something that only happens once or twice in a lifetime. I love you forever, my friend. You will always be in my heart. Elaine

Reality is hitting hard this morning. I walked into church so sad yesterday and asked you to PLEASE give me a sign that you were with us and you were OK. I wholeheartedly believe that cardinal on the window sill was you, so thank you for that! Thank you for everything you have instilled in me as a Mom. I inspire to be JUST LIKE YOU as a mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. I promise one of the batches of mashed potatoes will be made with Half n Half on Christmas and I promise we will take care of Dad and always be the close knit family you taught us to be. Don't be mad at him for keeping your casket open. He thought you looked so beautiful and he wanted to share it with everyone. We all agreed. I will wear one of your rings proudly and love that I have it to keep a piece of you with me always. Someone in the receiving line at your wake said to me that you have to have loved so hard to hurt this badly. How true! We are selfishly sad that you are gone but I believe that Heaven exists and you are happy. Please keep giving us signs because it is so comforting. Until we meet again....I love you Mom

Gone but not forgotten. Thank you for everything you have taught me mom. My greatest title in life is to be called your daughter. I am who I am because of you. I miss you so much already. Rest In Peace. PS......I'm still going to get that tattoo that we talked about. We were supposed to get it together. Love, Di
