Max and Mary Piekos were my beloved next door neighbors in Oak Park, IL for 23 years. We grew to appreciate both of them as neighbors and then friends. Max had a special and funny relationship with my dog, Buck, Buck loved Max. Max, secretly, gave Buck a treat almost every morning for years. My daughter also was fond of Max and Mary and their wonderful elaborate Christmas decorations. May they both rest in peace now together in Heaven. Amen.
