Michael A. Carusiello, 59, unexpectedly passed away on December 4, 2022.

Michael was born in Melrose Park, IL and moved to Bloomingdale to raise his family. He was a hard worker and a successful trader at the CME. Michael was a devoted husband to Donna Carusiello. His family meant more to Michael than anything else in the world. He was unendingly proud of his children and always supported them in anything they chose to pursue. Michael was a loving father to Kristin (Greg Zernitz), Joey, and Alex. He was the best grandfather to Ryland Zernitz. Nothing could put a smile on his face quite like his grandbaby boy. Michael was the loving son of the late John and Dorothy Carusiello. He was the dear brother of Kathleen (Tommy Smock) and John (Elva), son in law to John Dingraudo (Rita), and brother in law to Doug Dingraudo (Dawn). He was a dear uncle to Anthony (Nina), Michael, Renee (Sean), Dakota, late Anthony, Nicki (Kyle), Rick (Erin).

Michael was known for his kind and generous heart. He was always a steadfast and loyal friend to many. Michael will be remembered with love and will always be in our hearts. He will be forever missed.

Dear Donna, I'm so sorry to learn of your heartbreak from the sudden passing of your husband. My prayers are with you and your whole family. Nothing can ease the pain you are all going through, but here is a quote that previously touched me during my own loss: Death leaves a heartache that no one can heal; Love leaves memories that no one can steal. With love, Laura

Dear Donna, There aren’t really words, we lost my dad in a similar unexpected way, he was 56. Mike was a great guy, and I was so very sad to hear of his passing. My prayer for you is that you and your family can find comfort in each other and your memories. With my deepest sympathy, Sheri Mancini

I am deeply saddened to learn of Michael’s passing. We worked together for many years and cannot speak highly enough about his kindness. Always a gentleman and role model for others. He was one of the “good guys.” May his memory be a blessing. Rest in peace precious soul.

Donna and Kristen, Joey , and Alex…. Please know that you are surrounded by so many people that love you and care. Mike will always be remembered as the most kind, and generous man. I wish you calm during this storm. Find your peace. Know that you will never be alone, he will always be there for you, never stop talking to him…He hears! May you feel the love and comfort from others now. Wish we could be there, all our love, Sandy and Manoli

I have lived in Florida for all of Michael’s life. I visited Melrose Park and my Carusiello relatives throughout the years. Michael’s Dad was my Dad’s younger brother. Sincere, smart, and loving are words that describe him when I have been in his presence. His absence will be greatly missed by so many. Cousin Anthony
