Michele Ruggieri

Michele “Mike” Ruggieri, born in Mola Di Bari, Italy from Chicago; passed away on October 16th. Husband of Giuseppina Ruggieri. Loving father of Nicola (Jennifer) and Gaetano (Susie). Proud Grandfather of Michael, Frank, Michele, and Alessia. Mike was preceded by death by his parents Nicola and Maria (Darminio). Loving brother and brother-in-law. Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

> In Italy Mike grew up on the water & was an avid fisherman. When he came to America he was a crane operator in the Steel Mill industry. After the steel mill, he sought out his passion in baking and was well known for his baking skills. He became a production manager. Mike helped many people throughout his career.

> We all know he took the road less traveled and sadly On October 16th it came to an end and he found the stairway to heaven. He is no longer suffering.

> Mike’s family was his biggest joy and he will be forever loved and missed.

> The family will hold a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers or donations, the family would appreciate your quiet prayers.
