Nancy Marie Greene; nee: Nardella, age 56, of Wheaton, went to be with the Lord in her home with her family at her side in the early morning of December 7, 2016 after a courageous 11 month battle with cancer. Nancy was born on July 9, 1960 to the late Anita (nee Diamond) and the late Jack Nardella in Chicago. She was the beloved wife of Ron for almost 35 years (February 14, 1982); cherished mother of Christie (Drew) TenPas, Ronny (Amanda Hochsprung) and Christopher; proud “Amma” (Grandmother) of Joseph, Nicholas, Samantha, Madyson, and Dominick; loving sister of Teri (Bill) Faklaris and Marie (Robert) Seidel; daughter-in-law of Helen Bruno; dear Aunt of many nieces and nephews; caring friend to all who knew her, and sister in Christ to many. She was the master of the kitchen, cooking generation old recipes, found her greatest joy in witnessing to others about the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ, loved shopping, truly enjoyed gathering to worship at Sunday morning church, and had a one-of-a-kind heart of gold – always giving to others and showing care with such a selfless passion. She was happiest when surrounded by her family and was so proud to show off her children and grandchildren. Nancy has made a lifelong impact on many people’s lives and she will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 13th, 4-9pm at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapel [John Rago Sons F.D.], 450 W. Lake Street in Roselle. Wednesday, December 14th, everyone is asked to assemble 10:15am for a 10:30am Funeral Service directly at Calvary Community Church, 1000 S. Springinsguth Road in Schaumburg.
