The world became brighter on October 30th 2003 the day that Payton was born.

Our amazing Payton tragically left us on June 28th. He left behind a loving family, his beautiful amazing girlfriend and many loving friends. Payton left a mark on the hearts of everyone he met even if for just a few moments. His smile lit up every room.

He was unapologetically himself. He loved to dress up in different superhero costumes and go for a walk around the neighborhood. He was always up for adventures with his friends. He still enjoyed his action figures and building Legos.

Even with all the love and support he had he just couldn’t stay with us. He believed in other universes and hopefully he found his right one now. This picture represents that he took half of our hearts with him.

To honor Payton’s life, we are holding a Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 8th come celebrate with us any time between 1:00pm to 5:00pm. We ask that you come dressed casual and comfortable as he would have wanted.

Instead of flowers please donate to Donate | NAMI DuPage at www.namidupage.org they are a local organization that offers programs and services to individuals and families who struggle with mental illnesses, or any suicide prevention/mental health support organization.

Spidey is a brother to me in a lot of ways. Many of my best memories were made with them. They are a bright soul and truly impacted those who had the privilege of meeting them. As long as those memories are shared and preserved, they will always be with us.

Oh Payton. I am so sad that you are gone. Why couldn't you tell someone that you were so sad? But I hope that you have finally found peace. I love you.

Payton was my student and it was a gift to have worked with him, have him in my classes, and be inspired by his creativity.I will always treasure the time I had with him and let his creativity continue to inspire me and other future students.

Rod and I read, with much sadness, about the passing of your beloved son, Payton. I remember the day he was born, birthday parties and the day you and I took Payton and Jack to the zoo. I know Payton was the light of your lives. Even though it has been a minute since we have seen you, we remember you in our thoughts and prayers
