Raymond Anthony Murrell, passsed away suddenly, Thursday, January 19, 2017; Beloved son of Mary L. Aguero and Anthony (Lori) Murrell; Dear brother of Antoinette Williams, Loving uncle of Mia Williams; Dear grandson of Marina Lopez and the late Alma and Walter Murrell; Dear nephew of many aunts and uncles and cousin to many. Raymond was a Police Officer with the Village of Bloomingdale and was also a Corrections Officer with the Cook County Sheriff’s Department. Funeral Wednesday, family and friends are asked to gather 10:00 a.m at Wheaton Bible Church 27W500 North Ave. West Chicago, IL. Interment OakRidge Cemetery. My heartfelt sympathy goes to the family of this honorable young Police Officer. I didn't personally know Officer Murrell, however I felt I needed to express my sympathy and send him a "Thank You" for his dedication to the Bloomingdale Police force. May God grant him eternal rest.

I've always known Ray to be a kind hearted, respectful, sweet boy who has grown into the kindest gentleman a person could know. You will be missed.
