To the whole Curtis family: Even though I did not know your father that well, I will miss the special conversations we had when he was in Antioch. Your dad was a special man. The enjoyment I felt speaking with him brought back fond memories of speaking with my own grandfather. My condolences on your loss.

I was 24 and It was my 3rd time visiting my host fam in Chicago. It was a tradition to stop by at grandpa and grandma's house for supper. After dinner we would drive home to Springfield. I was 15 when i first went to USA and met them. Although they knew me new, they were quickly adopted. Granpa and Granpa Curtis... They both are sweethearts.. Unfortunately, I am now in Turkey and wish i could beam myself there so i could hug all my family members.. Oh well.. I am glad technology developed alot.. R.I.P grandpa. Dont forget to hug grandma for us !! Special note to dad Thomas; Dad, i feel how you feel. I feel sad he is gone but at the same time i am happy because he is now with grandma forever. They will be missed and loved forever !! Hug mom and the kids for me ! Loves, BB (Your one and only daughter)

I was lucky to have you as a “dad,” for a time, but my children were blessed their entire lives as you were the best grandpa anyone could hope for. Thank you for all that you brought to Shannon and Michael’s lives. Thank you for always teasing me and making me laugh, even after all these years.
