Richard “Rich” Bertone of Elmwood Park passed away surrounded by his loving family on April 21, 2022. Beloved spouse of Mary Anne nee Forte; Loving father of Lisa (Michael) Zizas and Rick Bertone; Cherished Papa of Nicholas, Alyssa & Jessica; Dear brother of David (Joy) Bertone; Brother-in-law of Joseph (Pam) Forte; Albert (Kathie) Forte. Fond uncle, cousin and friend to many. Proud veteran & longtime respected 4th degree member of Sheridan-Carroll Knights of Columbus. Rich was a devoted parishioner and usher at St. Vincent Ferrer Church for 42 years. His smile and laughter will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to The American Cancer Society.

Visitation Monday, April 25, 2022 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Salerno’s Galewood Chapels 1857 N. Harlem Ave. Chicago. Prayers and final viewing will begin at 8:45 AM on Tuesday morning at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM to be celebrated at St. Vincent Ferrer Church 1530 Jackson Ave. River Forest. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. For Info (773) 889-1700
