He was born to the late Lawrence and Josephine Holtz and was the second child of six (the late Lawrence “Larry Boy”, Josie, Geraldine, Debbie, and Kathy). His first job during high school was working with his dad to hand deliver groceries to the local residents of the area. At the age of 19 he entered the United States Army. He was stationed in Germany and his primary role was to clean and reassemble artillery transported to Vietnam. At the age of 23 he married his greatest love Angela Andalcio-Holtz. Together they had three children and through them five grandkids. Bob’s main profession throughout his adult life was truck-driving but his passion was going above and beyond to help anyone in need and to make the people around him smile and laugh regularly. Robert passed away at the age of 76 peacefully on September 19th, 2023. Bob is the Loving Father of Rachelle Ballesteros, Ryan (Ali) Holtz, and Aundrea (Alan Hrizak). Cherished Grandfather to Enya, Jaden, Rylie, Evan, and Masen.

I first met you in 1980 at my aunt Doll home or Tyrone home. But I remember you always dress professionally with a white shirt black tie and Jacket. Just a few years ago we spoke on the phone and one of your famos words was that (I was to bless to be stress) go in peace my friend. You were a great father and husband to your family and you did provide for your family when you use to drive the truck for many years. God bless you. Your three kids and your ex wife is missing you right now. (Dominic)

TO MY UNCLE BOB, WHO WE WILL MISS VERY MUCH. HIS LAUGHTER, SMILE AND INTELLECT GAVE US JOY AND HUMOR. HIS VOCABULARY WAS AMAZING AND VERY ARTICULATED IN HIS DIALOGUE. ETERNAL PEACE, JOY AND HAPPINESS IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD. I PRAY IN JESUS NAME: AMEN! TO THE FAMILY: SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS AND MY CONDOLENCES GO OUT TO THE HOLTZ FAMILY.

Please accept my deepest condolences for the loss of Bob. I have fond memories of how he and Angela welcomed me into the family, sharing food, music, and dance. They trusted me to babysit their precious children, and on weekends, they opened their home to us, where we swam, biked, and grilled. Life was good. Bob will be deeply missed. Lon

“You’re too blessed to be stressed,” words of encouragement, that would be offered by Bob, that I will always carry in my heart.
