Dear Deborah & Family, I was deeply saddened to hear about Rob. I know your family has endured so much loss in recent years that everything must seem impossibly raw. Though time has a way of pushing people along paths that may not cross again on this Earth, I want you to know that for me, Rob is forever tan, dark wet hair dripping, standing in Grandma's yard, victoriously clutching handfuls of coins. Grandpa filled a rigid metal pool, the kind with a vinyl liner, and tossed change in the bottom challenging us to go under water and see how many we could grab. Rob was maybe ten years old -- a smile as wide as an ocean, triumph writ across his face and the promise of a million possibilities lay before him awash in sunshine. He was free in a way only children can be. Maybe, wherever we go to be with those who have gone before, Grandpa is making him swim for silver dollars and Liberty dimes. In any case, he is free again, beyond the freedom any of the living can comprehend. I'm so sorry for your loss. I pray for your family. Your peace. Your healing. May your faith carry you always. With love, Cathy

Heartbreaking sorrow has created a hole in my heart without you. May we always remember the memories of your life that were filled with very special people, very special hobbies and the love from all of us. Thank God you were in our lives, you made us so much happier. God bless and keep you in his arms. Aunt Marilyn and family
