With much sadness, saying Google by to a man that became a very special friend to my wife and I. We became very close at first by being neighbors on our boats in Burnham harbor, in Chicago. Our summers were very special, and of course it carried into the winter. He was a forever friend, both in Chicago and carried to Florida. Like Bobby always said, you never know when a party will start. We will miss him forever.

My sincere condolences to the DeCoursey Family. My late husband, Peter, shared many happy weekends with Bob when he had his boat in Burnham Harbor. He was always warm and welcoming to all his friends in the boating community and also after his moved to Naples. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Aimee Gilbert

We are still in shock and can't believe that we will never see Bob again. Every time he walked into the community restaurant in the Isles (in Naples) everyone said "HI BOB" and the smile on his face was priceless. Our hearts go out to his family, Bob was so proud of his children and grandchildren. I spoke to him on Wednesday the 9th and he was doing fine. He was looking forward to seeing us when we returned from our trip to help us celebrate our 50th anniversary. A seat will be reserved in his name. RIP Bob, you were a good man, very successful in life, work and family and it just won't be the same in the Isles without seeing your smiling face.

I knew the Big guy aka the Boss since 1995 when I was hired to work for RDN. Bob D was full of life and a fun guy to work for. He threw the best parties for his company outings from going out on his boat cruising the lake front and baseball games and office parties with nothing but the best times to be had by all. Bob D always treated me with respect and gratitude and loved his company and employees. Most of all he loved his family and always told me when I had to leave for a family issue, Family first Ray I understand and said you go take care of it and come back as soon as you can. Thanks Big guy for always understanding and allowing me to be a part of your company and treating my like family. You may be gone but will never be forgotten. May you R.I,P. To Kelly, Bob Jr, Kevin and all family members, my heart and prayers go out to you. Another one gone to soon. Sincerely Ray Bombeck and Family

Bobby De, as we all called him, was the best friend I have ever had. I have known him for all 28 years as a true friend and party person. I was truely "shocked" by his passing since we were supposed to have dinner together this week. I wish I were able to attend the funeral procession ,but, I can not because of health reasons. I am his senior by 5 years and he always reminded me of that. I will miss him dearly, and would like to express my condolences to the Decoursey family.

Condolences to the DeCoursey family. Still in shock having just seen Bob 4 weeks ago at a lunch, we had some great lunchs in the past and lots of laughs. Met Bob in 1986 for business and ever since then he has always been nice to me and made us all laugh. Besides business he and RDN became good friends. Will miss him. Condolences to Kelly, Bob and Kevin . Armand and Nancy Smith

To The DeCoursey Please accept my heartfelt condolences on Bobby's passing. There are no words to adequately express my symphathy. Bobby was a good friend and we were just together having lunch and laughing. Many times I would think of Bob and end up having a smile on my face. Goodbye, old friend
