Serena (Josie) was a wonderful friend not only to me but to my parents . She crocheted a blanket for my mother. She always looked out for my father and me after my mother passed away. She was always there if we ever needed her. May G-d grant her peace. RIP Josie.

I remember this wonderful lady that I had the privilege to know my whole life. I thought she was my aunt all those years. She was kind, thoughtful and very frank and the world was a better place because of her. To her family, I wish you peace knowing that she's free from pain and all those beautiful memories of you have of her and she of you can be cherished.

Nani Josie, you were the absolute light of this family’s life and it was an honor and privilege to have known you personally. I will remember all your stories ( the grocery store Rush Street all of em). Your great grandchildren , Gaetano Frankie Nicholas , Nicole and my children , were extremely lucky and blessed to have known you and known the type of person you are ,were, and will always be in our mind. You were the absolute last of the great ones, you have left us now for a better place and I know you are overflowing with joy and happiness in that place. Nani Josie, I sincerely love you with all my heart. It was a privilege to have known you and I will miss you and the tine we spent together dearly. Your kiddo , Frankie Carbonara
