Sheamus was a classmate of mine from high school and fellow teammate in football. I have nothing but good things to say about his character and the person he was. My condolences to all of his family and prayers for healing. Brian Lenahan, 95’

Sheamus receiving one of his many awards. He tipped my hat forward before the picture (I'm the guy standing directly in front of him). Always the prankster.

Saying goodbye to someone we care about is heartbreaking. May you find comfort in all the special memories shared with Sheamus. I am blessed to have known him and honored to have worked with him. Rest in eternal peace my friend. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Matthew 5:4-9

My heart goes out to the entire family, Belmontes and Fergus and extended families. I never met Sheamus but due to my friendship with his loving Aunt Frannie, I felt I knew him. He surely was a fine family man and a loving, and well-loved, person.

You left us with good memories and I'm glad I meet you, you were a true soldier in our fight against the evil on the streets of Chicago. You left us and your family for another fight, with our Lord as your leader in our fight of good verses evil. You will be missed, but always remembered as a good and decent person. Walk with Jesus.

Sheamus will be missed by so many people, including the entire La Civita Family and all the families on Henderson Street and around Chopin Park. We all have so many fond, and funny memories of him! As his former babysitter, I have many stories to share! He grew up, along with his brother and sister, to be caring, loving, and very giving people. We send love and hugs to the entire Fergus Family. Peace and All Good Things, Jennifer La Civita, the La Civita Family, and many other Henderson Street and Chopin Park families.
