I was shocked and saddened to open Facebook earlier this week and discover that one of my old childhood friends, Tavio Rossi, had passed away. I met Tavio in kindergarten and he remained a classmate of mine through middle school. We hadn't spoken in probably ten years, but that made it no less painful to learn that someone so young had lost his life. Rest well, Tavio. My thoughts are with Mario and his mother.

I will forever hold our childhood memories close to my heart. Grade school days, summers swimming in your back yard, riding go-peds, going to the dirt jumps, football, high school and many more memories I look back on and am very blessed to have shared those with you. To Michelle who was just as much as a mother to me as a child and Mario who was our little brother growing up I'm deeply sorry and are at a loss for words.
