On Wednesday, June 14th, 2023, Teresita V. Del Mundo, beloved mother, sister, and grandmother, went to be with God at the age of 72, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Tessie, as family and close friends called her, was born on November 7th, 1950, in Marikina, Philippines to Cresenciana & Cesario Vergara. She was the youngest of 7 children. Along with her siblings, Jun, Florida, Caloy, Norma, Romy and Dina, Tessie was raised in a loving and traditional Filipino home. Tessie was loved by many people, her personality as a social butterfly gained many friendships in her life. Through her years, she enjoyed traveling to see family, attend friend gatherings to play mahjong, and dancing. Tessie was very family oriented; many would say that her face lit up with joy in a room full of her family. Tessie had the privilege of sharing her life with her one and only daughter, Faith Mercado, married to Ramon Mercado. Tessie also leaves behind four grandchildren, Nicholas, Jocelyn, Tessa Rose, and Madison Hope, who will forever cherish the time they had with their loving Mama Tess.
