Teddy was an amazing person. She was sharp, witty and sincere. Her presence commanded respect and always left you smiling. Her dry sense of humor was a delight. She will be missed.

As I was driving home from Teddy's funeral I was thinking of what a fitting service for a very special person who touched the lives of so many. As a first grade teacher at Beye I witnessed Teddy's "magic" with the k's on a daily basis. She loved each of her students and tirelessly worked to help them grow. Teddy was a pillar at Beye who was greatly admired and appreciated by parents and colleagues. I sat with a Beye Family at the funeral and enjoyed their praises of Teddy. I too have many stories to tell of her love and support of the faculty at Beye as well as of the many loving stories she told us about her family. I will greatly miss my dear friend.

Teddy There are so many words that describe who you were: teacher, friend, kind, gentle, loving. You were my favorite kindergarten teacher and first teacher in grade school; a great friend to my mom, and a wonderful human being. I love you and will miss you!! My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Betty

I last saw Teddy just a few weeks ago and I am very grateful for that. We shared a lunch with the family and Teddy no doubt noticing my interest in her malt called for a cup to share it with me. It left a sweet taste in my mouth as has Teddy. Godspeed.

My deepest condolences to Teddy Bax's wonderful wonderful family! Teddy and I have known each other over 45 years. I am so blessed and proud to call her my friend and to have had our paths cross. Her wit and sense of humor were unlike anyone I had known previously or since! Teddy's kindness towards others and consummate joy of teaching was something I so looked up to. I will miss her so very much and she will be in my heart forever! Farewell my dear friend, heaven just received a very special angel who will keep all of you up there on your toes and giggling everyday! ❤️
