WB Wilbur Shenk was a true and worthy brother. I always enjoyed chatting with him before lodge meetings when he was in attendance. He will indeed be missed.

Dear Will, I also remember you in the family since about 7. I also had the honor of witnessing your marriage to Aunt Judy, and have fond memories of your mother-in-law Aunt Jeanette and Uncle Art Peterson, along with all the large family gatherings at Great-grandmother Elizabeth McFeeley’s house on Elgin Ave. in Forest Park and when you lived in NW Chicago below your in-laws. You and Judy were also admired for your smiles, your consistent kindness and your spark for living. May your memories comfort all of your family and be eternal. Barbara ( Snyder) Rock

Wilbur and I served on the counting committee at St. Thomas UMC. Wilbur was a very generous person with his time and energy. He even talked his wife Judy into helping out when he wasn’t available. Rest in peace my friend.

Dear Wilbur, I remember having the honor of being at your and Judy's Wedding as a child, and now I have the honor of saying goodbye. Over the last 60 years of extended family get togethers, I have always remembered you as friendly & fun loving with everyone you spoke to. You had a kind word for everyone and took the time to have conversations with them. You will be missed. Say hi to Judy for us when you see her.

Heaven has truly gained an Angel. I was the luckiest Queen to ever serve Daughters of the Nile in Chicago for I was blessed with the BEST Potentate ever. I will forever remember meeting him for the first time and the love and support he instantly gave me. He and Judy becoming treasured friends. Rest well dear, well earned, and I know we are all sad you’ve gone to the great temple on high but I know you and Judy are basking in being together again and I hope everyone who loves you both takes comfort in that. Mizpah!
