Bill was a great Man and Locomotive Engineer! He and my father hired out on the CMSP&P together, only one seniority date apart. They studied the book of rules together. I always respected him because he prefered the freight pool turns than the easy passenger train jobs, because he said "Anybody can operate trains with only four or five cars to pull or push". RIP W.E.
