William “Willie” Sessa, 96, WWII Army Veteran, and former City of Chicago Ward Superintendent for 27 years, passed away on November 27, joining his beloved family in Heaven. Devoted son of the late Joseph and Mary; loving brother of the late Ernest (the late Jeanette); the late Millie Fasano (the late Frank); the late Vito (the late Mary); the late Micky; and the late Lucy Donofrio (the late Tony). Treasured Uncle of Marilyn and Al Kwak; Nadine Pardieux (the late John); Carol Zaborowski (the late Ernie); Cherie and Larry Wysocki; the late Ernie (Bridget) Sessa; the late Dennis Donofrio; Valerie Borelli (the late Roland); and Joseph Sessa. Loving cousin of many. Dear companion and friend of Nora DeVito and the DeVito Family. Special thanks to Ron Cipolla for the incredible friendship and support he showed to our Uncle. Our appreciation to Rainbow Hospice for its exceptional care and compassionate support. My condolences to Willie’s family. Beautiful family the Sessa’s. Shared a common porch with Mary and Vito back in the 50’s. Sorry for your loss Valerie and Joseph. Trudy

Gianna was Willie’s little girl . He was present in her life from birth through everyday living . All of the DeVito family was loved & lived him so much . We will pray for him & miss him forever! Every holiday , he sat at Toni’s table was so lively and fun.
