Zoraida Serrano
Beloved wife of Jose A. Nunez; Devoted mother of Ivelisse (Stacey) Vandergriff and Yadines (Eric Encarnacion) Nunez; Loving daughter of Inez and the late Miguel Serrano; Dear sister of Yadira (late Emanuel) Papacrist and Carmen Cruz; Cherished grandmother of Felix A. De Jesus and Jhan Daniell Rivera; Fond aunt of Vanessa Ortiz and many more nieces and nephews.
My grandmother:

She was love and loyalty personified, a guiding light, and a pillar of strength in our lives.

Grandma had a unique way of making you feel cherished and valued. Whether it was through her delicious homemade meals, her warm hugs, or her gentle encouragement during life’s challenges, her presence brought joy and reassurance to my lives.

Her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering support were constants that shaped my upbringing and helped me become the person I am today.

You will be sorely missed Grandma, rest easy and know we love you and we will be okay.

Mom:

Mom was a hard working woman. Selfless to a fault. Always took care of all before herself. Loving. Beautiful. Strong.
You sacrified a lot to make sure we had the best of what you could offer us and made us always a priority.. THANK YOU
Thank you Mom for loving us and always looking after us. Thank you for all the times you helped us move and organized our lives. Your support was unwavering, unconditional, and taught us to be self sufficient, independent and to endure.

Despite the deep hurt we feel with this unexpected loss, we promise you to make an effort, every day to ensure you are always proud of us.
We love you to INFINITY and BEYOND.

My sister:

I know you are at peace, and wherever you are you are sending us positive thoughts. I will always remember you. Please know everything will be alright. I love you, Carmin. Hugs and Kisses from Vanessa and Marcos.

From sister Yadira

“Sisters are the keepers of our most treasured secrets and sharers of our greatest joys. They may have their differences, but their love for each other is everlasting”

You will always be my sister the warrior, the quiet introvert with a volcano within, your unconditional love and support to family and friends; the challenges you faced and overcame, the hills you had to climb, the wisdom you shared and the shoulder to lean on when I could not find my way!

In our sister journey, I was your sidekick when you looked for trouble; your cover when you got busted and your mouthpiece when you did not speak up, and yep msny times you told me to take a hike but at the end we always worked things out!

Even though we may not comprehend why, God chose this day, this time to set you free He lifted you to His beautiful resting place and I know we will be together again someday. I love and miss you, Sis!
