Anthony “Tony” Gerard Del Boccio beloved husband of Lily, loving father to Nicole (Chris) VanHulle and Bridget Del Boccio, devoted stepfather to Lauren Napolitano and Jay Napolitano, proud grandfather to Maizy VanHulle, dear brother to Fran (Tony) Aiello and Geralyn Natale, fond uncle to Samantha (Anthony) Cianciolo, Bobby Natale, Rachel Aiello, Alecia (Kenny) Green, and Anthony Aiello, passed away on November 26, 2020.

63 years ago, on January 22, 1957, Anthony “Tony” Gerard Del Boccio was born to Tony and Jennie Del Boccio. Tony grew up in Chicago, Illinois with a passion for cars. This passion was realized when he became an owner/partner of independent auto parts stores started in part by his father. He was happy to assist anyone who walked into his shop, and he truly treated his customers like family. Tony took pride in the honest advice he offered to all. His humor and wit would instantly put you at ease.

Tony loved his family very much; he raised two wonderful daughters and recently became an adoring grandfather. Tony met his match in Lily, and they were married in 2011. During their years together, they enjoyed tropical vacations, watching movies on the couch, and most of all, time spent laughing with each other. He will surely be remembered for his love and generosity to anyone who crossed his path. He will be sorely and forever missed, but his legacy will carry on in each one of us. Though he is gone, we know in our hearts that Tony will forever be tinkering in a Heavenly garage doing what he loved most.

In memory of Tony and all that he stood for, we humbly ask that, in lieu of flowers or gifts, you would please make donations to a cause dear to us that provides much needed financial relief to family members of critically ill patients. Please donate at keepswimmingfoundation.org/tony
