Funeral Notes: Family and Friends are asked to meet Friday at 9:30 a.m. at funeral home. During visiting hours, it is still recommended to follow the State of Illinois guidelines limiting gathering and guests should continue to wear masks and practice social distancing.

Charles C. Raucci Jr., 80, formerly of Venice, Florida died Monday, December 27, 2021. He is the husband of the late Karen J. (Papa) Raucci who died January 30, 2013. Charles was born in Chicago on March 14, 1941, to the late Charles C. Raucci Sr. and Mary (Hickey) Raucci.

Chuck served our country faithfully from 1962 to 1965, as part of the 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army. Chuck was a tool and die maker by trade but was best known for his industrial spirit, inventive skills, and love of life. Not one to remain content with the status quo, Chuck is the holder of several US Patents and started up three businesses. Throughout his life, Chuck remained active, serving as a volunteer firefighter, skydiving, volunteering in New Orleans with the Red Cross for
Hurricane Katrina, a private pilot, building an airplane from scratch which he loved to fly as well as winning awards for his airplane craftsmanship and lastly, for remodeling nearly every home he lived in!

Chuck is survived by children, Kelly A. Raucci (Michael Schwarz) of Hanover Park, lL, Kristen Fleming
(Thomas) of Commerce, Ml, Charles C. Raucci lll(Jena) of Santa Monica, CA; grandchildren: Michael, Jackson, and Charley; siblings, Frank Raucci, Marylou (Bob) Mondi, Tim (Debbie) Raucci, Mona (Terry) Smith, Geralyn (Mike) O’Brien, John (Colleen) Raucci. Predeceased by brother, Raymond, and sister, Joanne (Jerry) Boltz.

Service: Family and friends are invited to call 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm on Thursday, December 30th at the
Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels, 450 W, Lake Street, Roselle, lL. Interment will conclude services at Salerno’s
Rosedale Chapels on Friday, December 31st at 10:30 am followed by a luncheon at Tony Spavone’s Ristorante, 266 W. Lake Street, Bloomingdale, IL
