Flowers should be sent to Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels. Hector was born on October 15, 1932 in San Miguel Allende, GTO. Mexico. Later moved to Queretaro
where he was a founding member of the Queretaro Gallos Blancos Soccer team. His time on the team
is proudly commemorated on the stadium wall. After his time on the soccer field, he moved to Chicago in the early 50’s, joined the Army and proudly
served in the 13 th infantry. He had met the love of his life in Mexico prior to joining the service in Chicago and upon his return would then marry Aurora on November 19, 1961. They would go on to raise four daughters and have 10 grandchildren. Being married for almost 60 years their love for each
other continued to grow and the family would regularly see them walking hand in hand. Hector was always a positive, hard working man who valued family and never wanted to miss out on having fun with his extended family and many friends. He will be greatly missed.
