Gone too soon, will be remembered forever.
Isagani Quiambao Almonte, born August 30, 1966 left his physical body to meet his Creator on February 21, 2023. Gani gave his heart to Alma Perez Almonte, his devoted wife and best friend of 27 years. Gani was a thoughtful and loving son to Jesus (deceased) and Isidora Quiambao Almonte. He was loving, generous and dependable to his siblings Julian III, Jaime, Rosalie and Liberty. He loved and was friends with Auntie Cheng and also with Glory, Julz’ wife and John, Liberty’s husband. He was fun and generous uncle to Matthew, Timmy and Joshua. He was also uncle and a friend of Ryan and Roselle and a loving Great Uncle to Cassiana and Alina.

Gani left behind Alma’s family who he loved and embraced as his own. He is known to them as Lolo G. He was especially close to his nieces Diane, PY, Joy and nephew Kiko. He loved Nishka, Ikya, and Ysa, and treated them as his own grandchildren. He had soft spot in his heart for Keo, Choi, Chon and Kiel, his other apos. Gani loved music and learned how to play the guitar on his own. He loved the Beatles especially. He loved his friends and they became family – Adonis, Angel, Ariel, Bernie, Emer and Ronald. Alma’s best-friends became his own: Madelyn, Luz, and Pising. Gani is a board-certified Civil Engineer from the Philippines. He worked since 2005 at Sargent and Lundy as a Project Designer in the Mechanical Group. His direct supervisor described him as invaluable team mates who cared for his colleagues and mentored countless designers. He will be remembered at work for going above and beyond for employees and clients and for his wealth of knowledge and his kindness. Gani will be mostly remembered not just as a great Engineer, or as an awesome friend and a loving husband and a son. But he will be remembered by all because of how he made them feel.
