Funeral Notes: During visiting hours, it is still recommended to follow the current State of Illinois Guidelines, and guests should continue to wear masks and practice social distancing.  There would be 10-15 guests allowed to view at a time (socially distancing) and please make it a brief visit, long enough to pay your respects and continue on.  We ask that you do not linger in the viewing room or lobby area for an extended period of time.  We also ask that you follow the recommendation of the CDC and do not shake hands, hug or kiss while attending services.  If you do not feel well, please feel free to join us via Zoom.  Information for Zoom meeting to follow.

Our family sadly lost our matriarch on Thursday 1/14/2021. Judy Agno, passed away from Covid complications at St. Alexius Medical Center.

Judith Claudia Caoili, was born July 7, 1941 as a product of World War II. Raised from a rural area in the Philippines, her father was a farmer who believed that having an education is the most important thing to have. She qualified to go to a university where she finished her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. From the beginning, she wanted to serve humanity, so she decided to become a nurse. She worked as a nurse in the barrios where she met her husband of 47 years and gave birth to her son. She was also blessed with another child ten years later who gives her love and joy. She came from a close family, including 2 brothers with great ambition. One day, she saw an airplane high in the sky and vowed to herself that she would ride one to a better place. She came to America on a working visa and the rest is history. She worked as a nurse at Illinois Masonic Medical Center as a labor and delivery nurse/postpartum. She then evolved her career to establish several home care companies (United Home Care, Inc., Caring Tree, Advance Healthcare), and assisted others in starting their own as well, eventually helping a lot of people. Judy was a very spiritual person, and very involved in church activities especially at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She was very active in the Filipino community and would be the first one to make a charitable donation. She won many awards: 2006 National Prism Award, 2007 Lifetime Achievement Award, 2007 Novo Ecijanos of USA for Outstanding support and generosity, 2010 Model Award Outstanding Leadership among women in business, 2011 Humanitarian Golden Hearts Award, and 2013 Gintong Pamana Award.

Since then, she made many sacrifices for her family and friends. She was simply an amazing person, 100% saint, and a very caring and selfless woman. If you were fortunate to have met her, you would have liked her immediately. Her contributions to the lives of many are immeasurable.

Judy is survived by her 2 children: Emmanuel Agno (Carmen Agno) and Maria Cristina Agno Chambers (Rudy Chambers) along with their children, Nathan and Cameron Agno, Peter Jordan Agno Chambers, and Anthony Jude Agno Chambers. Mrs. Judy Agno is also survived by one brother, Arnold Caoili. She was preceded in death by her husband Peter Agno, whom she loved until her dying day, her parents Maria Bolo Caoili and Antanacio Caoili and her brother Bueno Llorante Caoili. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with as well as those she reached but never met.
