Julie Nunziato (nee Panico) was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She passed away peacefully in her home on January 1st, 2024, with her family by her side at the age of 58. Julie is survived by her loving husband, Anthony Nunziato, her two daughters, Janell (Evangelos Nikolaou) and Mickaela (Jessie Estrada), and three grandchildren, Nathan, Andy, and Eliana. Julie is the beloved sister of Terri Machale (Patrick) and Dominic Panico (Laural). Julie is the daughter-in-law to Ronald (Shelley) and Teresa Nunziato. She is the loving sister-in-law to Vivian, Ronald Jr, Michael Nunziato. She is a dear aunt and cousin to many. Julie was born to Andrew and Janet Panico on February 14, 1965, in Oak Park, Illinois. Julie graduated from West Leyden High School in 1983. Soon after she started working in the accounting department at Credit Union 1. She dedicated over 30 years of service and made lifelong friends while working there. She married the love of her life, Anthony Nunziato on November 7th, 1992 and spent over 31 years together. She devoted her life to being the best mom, wife and grandma. She spent most of her time by the pool and loved having all of her friends and family over. She was the mom of many and her door was always open. Julie was the life of the party who mastered the art of air drumming. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, gardening, jewelry, dancing, and shopping. Julie’s love of life and the people in it will be carried on through the memories and stories of her. To know her is to love her. She will be missed dearly. “Three things will last forever- faith, hope and love-and the greatest of these is love” -1 Corninthians 13:13 NLT.
