Ken Duffy (82) – husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed on Sunday, June 28th.  Married to his wife Diane for 58 years and lived most years Bloomingdale, IL. (since ‘62).  After a long successful career with Jewel Foods, Ken retired many years ago with 40+ yrs in the meat-cutters union.  Ken enjoyed many happy years in retirement with a focus on fishing, traveling and fawning over his family – especially his eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren!  His family and his dog (Chloe) were always in his thoughts.  He was an avid fisherman, craftsman and collector. A true American patriot, Ken proudly served in the U.S. Army – 82nd Airborne and Military Police (Korea, late 1950’s).  He was a master of the grill and an eclectic chef, a wildlife artist, ice cream connoisseur – A great man who was always proud of his children and thankful for the opportunity to help.  Our dad “Papa Ken” will be forever missed and remain loved in our hearts!

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests any gifts to be directed to either:
