Miguel Contreras Sierra May 11,1930 – June 18, 2023 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father Miguel Contreras Sierra, 93 years old, on June 18, 2023. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family and loved ones. Born on May 11, 1930 in Mexico, Miguel Contreras was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, father-in-law, brother and friend who made a profound impact on the lives of those around him. He was known for his tenacity, kindness, leadership, helping family, and perseverance to reach his dreams. He raised his family from humble beginnings and provided for his family as a metal polisher of golf equipment, chandeliers and a business man.

He was a Catholic man who believed in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and raised his family to pray and be thankful for all that God has provided. Miguel will be remembered for always being there for his family, his beautiful smile, bountiful conversationalist (in many languages), and entertaining us with his singing voice and his dancing. He enjoyed listening to music (mambo, samba, salsa and mariachi songs were his favorite), spending time with family, watching boxing, playing tennis, and singing famous Mexican songs, which brought him immense joy and fulfillment. He had a remarkable zest for life, a contagious smile, a never give up mindset and approached every day with optimism.

Miguel believed with a little hard work, you could accomplish anything if you set your mind to it. Nothing was impossible for him. He was self taught and was known to be able to fix anything needing repair.

Friends and family are invited to gather and pay their respects and celebrate Miguel Contreras’s extraordinary life. The legacy of Miguel Contreras will forever live on in ours hearts and minds of all who had the privilege of knowing this great man. He touched the lives of many and leaves behind a legacy in our hearts. May he find eternal peace, and may his memory and spirit be a blessing to us all. We love you Papi!
