Pasquale (Lillino) Spilotro, 65 passed away on April 30, 2017 at Lutheran General Hospital in Park
Ridge, IL from injuries sustained during a fall. Pasquale was born on December 11, 1951 in Triggiano
Bari, Italy. During his teen years, Pasquale moved to Chicago, IL where he met his wife Francesca,
they married and had two children Michael and Agata. In 1993, Pasquale relocated to Palm Harbor,
Florida to pursue a career with Publix Supermarket in hopes of providing a better future for his family.
After a long career with Publix, he retired in 2016 after dealing with multiple illness earlier in 2015. In
addition to working at Publix, Pasquale also free-lanced as videographer for special events and
performed remodeling work for friends and family. Some of his hobbies and interests included
listening to music both American and Italian, watching movies and learning about the latest electronic
gadgets. Pasquale will be remembered as a kind and loving husband, and a hard-working individual
who cared deeply for his children, grandchildren and family. Pasquale left us all so suddenly and he
will be sorely missed until we meet him again in heaven.
Pasquale is survived by his wife Francesca, one son Michael Spilotro and one daughter Agata
(husband, Jamie) McGaughey, and three grandchildren Colton, Caleb, and Alexa; brother Vincenzo,
sister Filomena, brother/sister in laws, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Michele and Agata (Patano)
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 6 th , 2017 from 12 noon to 4 p.m with a Prayer Service at 3:15
pm at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels, 450 West Lake Street, Roselle, IL 60172. Interment: Private
In lieu of flowers the family suggests a contribution to a charitable organization.
