Rolland’s marriage of almost 71 years to Jo Ann was his life’s force. He was generous, optimistic and caring. He was always ready to lift up anyone who needed a hand. He was a well-loved father, grandfather, uncle and neighbor. One neighbor called him “The Judge” because of his fairness and level-headedness. He enjoyed skiing, traveling and meeting new people. He was an avid reader of the news. He served in the U.S. Army, and he worked for the railroad industry for 45 years. While we will miss him terribly, his spark and happiness will live on in us.
